Our program is based upon four premises:
1) Any use of violence is unacceptable and its elimination is best achieved using a multifaceted approach.
2) while the majority of victims of domestic violence are children it affects everyone.
3) family and relationship violence can be healed
4) perpetrators of violence can learn and integrate emotional self-regulation skills that remove the incentives for violent behavior.
Our program utilizes a 26 and a 52-week format with groups meeting one time weekly. The curriculum is designed to facilitate development of emotional self-regulation skills and personal accountability. Groups are led by an ICADV Certified Facilitator.
Services are available in both Spanish and English. Domestic Violence Programs are one day per week – 1.5 hours each.
